One of the missions of our team in Poland is to support young mothers in Ukrainian maternity wards. A considerable number of Ukrainian women face lactation challenges due to the immense stress caused by the instability and uncertainty. Due to travel restrictions that have confined Ukrainian men aged 18 to 65 within the country’s borders, pregnant women often navigate these challenges alone. Through visits to Ukrainian hospitals, we are able to provide comprehensive layettes that include essential items such as pacifiers, rompers, feeding bottles, diapers, powdered milk, wet wipes, bath products, postpartum supplies, and nightwear.
Love Does Boutique
Inspired by the Love Does Boutique in San Diego, this boutique offers free goods to women and children in need such as baby supplies, baby and kids clothing, women’s clothing, books and various household items. It’s extremely important to stand beside these women and children, especially now. Workshops will be held at the boutique as well to give mothers additional resources and support as they care for their families.
”The days have been long and uncertain, but this boutique brought a sense of normalcy back to my life. Walking through the shelves, choosing tiny clothes for my baby... it reminded me that there's still joy and hope, even in times of darkness.
