Last week we marked 9 years since the devastating Nepal earthquake that killed 8,962 and injured 21,952.
We traveled to the area soon after the natural disaster, and we witnessed first hand how difficult it was for everyone, especially kids. So we started a childcare program at Love Does Harisiddhi Community School with the hope of providing stability and support for children whose structured education had been disrupted. What began as childcare soon transitioned into an after school program and has become the highlight of each day for 60-80 children from the local community.
The Love Does Harisiddhi Community After School Program in Nepal is a beacon of hope, offering children access to homework help and a daily meal. Students can cultivate friendships, pursue their passions, and envision a brighter future with all the love they’ve experienced made possible by your generosity.
