After a long journey, the shipping container filled with 285,000 meals has arrived at our campus in Burkina Faso! These meals will be used to feed students at our primary and secondary schools, as well as their families.
For many of our students, having a meal at school means they will have something to eat that day. It means they can sit in a classroom, focus on their teacher, and learn. We are grateful to partner with Lifeline Christian Mission to make this possible. Providing food at school removes one more barrier between our students and their education.
We saw another need on our campus: access to healthcare. So now we are turning this container that carried the food into a medical clinic where our students and staff can receive basic medical care right on campus. With $40,000 we will be able to outfit the clinic and cover the costs of staff and supplies. Join us in getting this space ready for our students!
Thank you for being part of what Love Does.
