Last month we celebrated two years of the Love Does primary and secondary school in Tijuana, Mexico!

When we opened the school in May 2024, students arriving at the largest asylum camp in North America had little to no access to education. Many had fled violence and instability and arrived carrying far more than any child should have to carry. We saw a need and stepped in, opening a school right next to the camp.

Two years later, the classrooms are full, and students are thriving! Whether these students remain in Tijuana, return home one day, or build lives somewhere new, they will carry what they have learned with them and continue shaping the communities around them.

Thank you to everyone for helping us launch the school, sustain daily operations, fill classrooms and library shelves, and continue showing up for these students. Thank you to the teachers and staff who walk through these doors every day making sure each student knows they are seen, valued, and loved.
