Last week, we were in the Dominican Republic at the Love Does Café to kick off an exciting new season for the café! With brand new upgrades, an espresso machine, and barista training, the café is ready for what’s ahead. Every cup is an opportunity to welcome someone in, share a little joy, and make a difference in the lives of the women behind the café. We kicked off the week with hands on barista training, where the ladies learned how to care for the new machine, pull espresso shots, steam milk, and prepare drinks. They’re excited to put their new skills to use, take ownership of a whole new menu of espresso drinks, and welcome even more customers through the doors!
Our hope is through this social enterprise initiative, any profits made from this café will go to support the Love Does Women’s Resource Center. A huge thank you to Talitha and Bella Goose for helping make this new season possible and investing in the graduates of the Love Does Women’s Resource Center! Your support is equipping the team with new skills, building confidence, and opening doors for continued growth.
We can’t wait to see what this next season holds!
