Our Love Does team and friends just got back from Uganda, where we celebrated 20 years of Love Does operating in Uganda!
Over the past two decades, we’ve graduated thousands of leaders from our schools, and on this visit, we added more than 500 graduates to that list. We also had the chance to reconnect with many of them at our first ever alumni event. They are now teachers, lawyers, and leaders across every sector of the country. One of our graduates has now become Uganda’s first public defender!
Bob’s dream of educating the future leaders of Uganda has come true.
While we were there, we also marked another incredible milestone: the land has been cleared and construction on Restore University has officially begun. We walked the future campus, saw the first foundations being poured, and gathered at the future site of the Chancellor’s House for a special ceremony dedicating a cross that will be part of the university’s cornerstone, serving as a reminder of why this university exists.
Dreams years in the making are becoming reality on so many levels.
Watch this special moment from the future site of Restore University:
Thank you for helping make this possible. We cannot wait to see what God will do through this university and through the generations of students who will one day call it home.
