Today some of our team is flying home where they spent time on the Ukrainian border and in Warsaw with some of the 2.5 million refugees that have fled to Poland in the last several weeks.
As mostly women and children walked across the borders or disembarked from trains with an unmistakeable heaviness, our team brought smiles and love not with balloons this time, but through a local favorite, chocolate Kinder Surprise Eggs.
And thanks to your generosity, we confirmed our first big shipment of much needed baby formula has been secured and is scheduled to be distributed to maternity wards within Ukraine.
Large refugee centers have been created in Warsaw. We are working with local officials to provide both short and long term support. We will continue to share details in the coming weeks as plans progress.
